Private School
Warrensburg Christian School is a private school in Warrensburg Missouri educating students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. It is our goal to provide all of our students with an exceptional education based on a Christ centered curriculum in a positive and nurturing learning environment. We utilize the A Beka curriculum and a variety of teaching methods to ensure that we reach all types of learners on any development level.

The growing need for private, Christian education is evident. We know parents are seeking a safe place for their children to grow and develop individually. At Warrensburg Christian School, we offer that nurturing space for children to reach their full academic and spiritual potential. Individualized attention, smaller classroom sizes, teachers that care, and God's presence in their day to day activities all aide our students in reaching their goals. We hope to show our students that hard work and determination can take them far in life, if they continue to stand on the foundation of Christ.
A day in the life of a WCS Student:
A normal day at WCS for our Private School Students begins around 8 AM. Students who arrive by 8 have the opportunity to start their day gathered with peers in our Open Area. Miss Jen leads the students in a morning meeting filled with worship and praise songs, the Pledge of Allegiance, a quick discussion, and a group prayer. Students are then met by their teachers who escort them to their classrooms at 8:20 to begin the academic day.
Their day ends back in the open area with an afternoon snack at 3:30. They can either be picked up at this time, or participate in our "After School Program" that runs until 5:30 PM.
We strive to provide our students with a well rounded educational experience, full of enriching activities and useful life lessons. We offer challenging academics through phonics, math, language arts, science, social studies and handwriting. To stimulate our students through creativity, we provide Art and Music. To meet their physical needs, they are able to participate in two 30 minute recesses per day, as well as twice weekly Physical Education class. We also want to provide our students with opportunities to grow and learn within our community and the world around them. We do outreach activities as often as possible to collect items such as food and clothing to be donated to various organizations throughout our community, and entertain our elderly in our community through songs and visits (when safe and able). We schedule 2 "Service Weeks" during the school year that are designated toward acts of service in all areas of our students life and beyond. At the end of every school year, we branch out and explore various educational places in the surrounding area that offer us the opportunity to learn more about our state and experience hands on activities.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
